CDA TO STOP CO-OP REGISTRATION, ETC., SEPT. 8
The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) will stop accepting from cooperatives, applications for name reservation, new registration, and registration of amendment of articles of cooperation and by-laws, effective September 8, 2014.
CDA Dep. Exec. Dir. GIOVANNI PLATERO, in an announcement posted Aug. 27, 2014, said all such applications will not be accepted in all CDA offices nationwide, starting said date.
The reason: CDA will implement the migration of its cooperative data, from the existing Registration Information System (RIS), to its newly-adopted Cooperative Registration Information System (CooPRIS).
However, CDA will resume accepting applications for such transactions after September 30, 2014. (END).
