PCC ISSUES 12TH CO-OP SUMMIT RULES
OCT. 2, REGISTRATION
Starting today (Oct. 2, 2014), registration of delegates to the 12th National Cooperative Summit (Summit) is officially closed, according to the Philippine Cooperative Center (PCC), even as it issued the rules to guide participants joining the Summit.
CO-OP SUMMIT ADVISORY
ISSUE BY PCC
PCC, the co-convenor of the Summit, with the Cooperative Development Authority, issued the advisory yesterday (Oct. 1, 2014). The Summit will be held on October 16-18, 2014 at Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu.
PCC announced that the number of delegates pre-registered has reached the equivalent number of the seating capacity of the venue.
It also clarified that the list of delegates posted in the PCC website (www.philcoopcenter.coop/?page_id=1484) is being updated to reflect the actual number of delegates already pre-registered.
PCC also issue the following reminders to the delegates:
1). Bring your original copy of the deposit slip;
2). Bring your I.D. -any identification card, preferably a government-issue I.D.;
SUMMIT DRESS CODE:
3). Summit Dress Code- a. First Day: Filipiniana; b. Solidarity Night: Throwback 1970's; c. Second Day: Primary/Secondary Coop Shirt;
4. For participants still looking for hotels, you may want to be booked at Waterfront Hotel. There are a few slots available for only P3,800.00 per person for two nights (Oct. 16 & 17), with breakfast. Pls. contact PCF (032)-253-6091/255/2792;
5. Thematic Presentation (Financial Cluster; Agri Producers an Marketing Cluster; Advocacy and Training Cluster; an Service Cluster) limited to 1,000 persons per group. Topics will be posted in the PCC website.
6. Registration (at the venue) will be on Oct. 16, 2014 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. Note: Only one (1) representative per cooperative is allowed to enter the registration area.
7. Summit opening ceremonies will start at exactly 1:30 p.m. (END).
